Get on the water

You don't need a boat or a partner to start. Four ways into the fleet, whether you've raced before or not.

01

Try a Snipe

Come out with an experienced skipper and see how the boat sails. Bring warm layers; the Bay is breezy.

Ask about a try-out
02

Crew for a skipper

Skippers are often looking for crew. Tell us your experience and weight and we'll pass it along.

03

Find a boat

Ask whether a fleet member has a boat free to charter or borrow before you buy your own.

04

Your first regatta

A local regatta is a skippers' meeting, a few short races and time on shore after. Pick a Local event to start.
